Our Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) training course, delivered in partnership with Tavcom Training, will enable you to establish the knowledge, competencies and skills needed to implement a successful TSCM survey to mitigate the threat of corporate espionage. We can help you to train staff to be able to conduct physical inspections of your organisation, either as a standalone security measure or as an interim action to support regular TSCM surveys.
Overview of the course
Delivered in partnership with Tavcom Training, part of Mitie Intelligence Services, we are proud to offer this TSCM BTEC Level 3 accredited training course.
The aim of this two-day course is to provide delegates with the ability to understand and carry out basic physical TSCM surveys. By understanding the principles of TSCM, delegates will be able to conduct interim or very short notice searches of sensitive areas, in support of a wider counter-espionage strategy.
What you'll learn
Delivered in Tavcom’s new state-of-the-art Birmingham Training Centre, this course will lead delegates through the physical and technical countermeasures survey process, covering topics such as evaluating the threat, producing a survey, conducting a physical and basic electronic inspection, as well as producing a report complete with recommendations for improving information security.
The training has a ‘hands-on’ focus and involves a number of practical scenarios based within an office environment to reinforce the learning.

The programme is designed for those involved with security and TSCM operations. It is suitable for anyone with the responsibility for: securing sensitive sites or information, conducting physical TSCM surveys within their organisation, and personnel tasked with employing the services of a third party TSCM provider.
Typical delegates include: Security Managers, Controller, Guards, FM Managers, Close Protection Officers, and In-House Security Personnel.
