IPMS is an important part of wireless defense, helping detect unauthorised wireless devices and networks, tools, and other wireless risks in confidential spaces, such as boardrooms, data centres, and government spaces. IPMS enables the security and integrity of an organisation’s facilities to be monitored on a 24/7 basis and at scale.

Yes, it can.  It is possible to White List (a non alerting list) devices that you have approved to be used in the area and the IPMS will continue to monitor the presence of those devices and even track them whilst on the estate, but it will not alarm on their presence.

The system can be configured to monitor any size of environment from a few C-suite rooms to a complete building, or even multiple sites.  Additional sensors need to be installed to cover the increased area and multiple buildings can all be monitored from one location. For secure locations, the IT system can be stand alone and under your control.
