Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM)
Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM), widely known as electronic bug sweeping, involves the detailed physical and technical inspection of the working environment, or home, to locate and neutralise covert surveillance devices.
Not only will a Technical Surveillance Countermeasures survey detect, locate and identify any illicit bugging devices, it can also identify additional areas where an organisation may be losing information other than through illicit eavesdropping devices such as through IT, Bluetooth, un-encrypted systems and broadcasting equipment.
Esoteric’s Technical Surveillance Countermeasures Approach
Esoteric’s Technical Surveillance Countermeasures approach is unique and can improve the security of an organisation as a whole.
Esoteric conducts a full on-site risk assessment before each survey. We will assess where vulnerabilities lie and offer strategic security advice on what action is appropriate.
A full, comprehensive and systematic inspection will then be conducted in the areas designated by our experience team of in-house technical surveillance Countermeasures engineers using the very latest technical surveillance countermeasures equipment. All Esoteric staff are vetted to a minimum of BS7858:2006 and our engineers are all vetted to government security levels (both DV and SC).
Findings would then be detailed in a report, highlighting the results of the technical and physical survey, along with our recommendations to improve current practices.
