Wi-Fi hot spots that are within contact range pose a threat to any Wi-Fi enabled device in a company’s premises.  This includes visitor and employee Wi-Fi enabled mobile devices.

The threat is that a Hacker can use the Wi-Fi hot spot to profile a Wi-Fi device, attack the Wi-Fi device, gain information from the Wi-Fi device, or use the Wi-Fi device as a jumping point (thereby gaining access into another system).  Read more.....
